NBA superstar LeBron James has opened up about why Boston remains one of his least favorite places to play, alleging that he has experienced racist behavior from some fans throughout his career.
Speaking candidly, James said:
"They racist as f*."**
The four-time NBA champion explained that while hostile crowds are part of professional sports, he believes some experiences in Boston have gone beyond normal fan rivalry.
LeBron said racist remarks are unfortunately nothing new to him.
"They will say anything, and it's fine. It's my life. It's stuff I've been dealing with my whole life."
He added that he usually ignores the insults and stays focused on the game.
"If I hear somebody close by, I'll check them real quick. I move on to the game."
According to James, maintaining his composure has become part of being an elite athlete competing in hostile environments.
James also recalled an incident in which someone allegedly threw a beer at him while he was leaving the arena.
"I got a beer thrown on me leaving the game."
He described the incident as one of several negative experiences he has encountered over the years.
LeBron also referenced merchandise featuring anti-LeBron slogans.
"There's a 'F* LBJ' T-shirt."**
He added that he believes the Celtics organization may have had something to do with it, although he did not present evidence to support that belief. That portion of his remarks reflects his personal opinion.
LeBron James and the Boston Celtics have shared one of the NBA's most intense rivalries for nearly two decades.
From his days with the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, many of LeBron's biggest playoff battles have come against Boston.
While passionate fan support has long been part of the rivalry, James' latest comments have renewed discussions about the line between competitive fandom and unacceptable behavior.
LeBron James' remarks highlight an issue that extends beyond basketball. Professional athletes have increasingly spoken out about racist abuse, both inside arenas and on social media, prompting leagues around the world to strengthen policies against discrimination.
At the same time, it is important to distinguish individual behavior from an entire community. James' comments describe his personal experiences and allegations involving some fans, and should not be interpreted as characterizing every Boston supporter or resident.
The broader conversation continues to focus on creating a respectful environment where competition remains intense without crossing into discrimination or abuse.
"Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone." — Romans 12:17 (NIV)
Paul reminds believers that while we cannot always control how others treat us, we can control how we respond. In sports—as in everyday life—competition should never justify hatred, discrimination, or abuse. Respect for human dignity remains more valuable than any victory. True strength is shown not only through talent and achievement but also through self-control, integrity, and treating others with honor even in moments of conflict.

Tyrese Maxey delivered the kind of performance that etches a player’s name into NBA lore — 54 points, career-high, and absolutely electric. With the game on the line in overtime, Maxey calmly knocked down two clutch free throws to seal the Philadelphia 76ers’ 123-114 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

This wasn’t just scoring — this was leadership, composure, and superstar-level shotmaking.
Maxey’s explosion came at a time when the Sixers desperately needed him. Joel Embiid missed his fifth straight game due to a knee issue, yet Maxey carried the franchise on his back, hitting shots from deep, slicing through the defense, and showing elite pacing that stunned the Bucks.
Milwaukee saw standout moments from their side too — Ryan Rollins posted a career-high 32 points and 14 assists — but even that wasn’t enough to overcome Maxey’s historic night.
With OT tension rising, Philly trusted its young star. And Maxey delivered.
Big time.
As the NBA season unfolds, this performance becomes a defining moment — not just for Maxey, but for a 76ers squad searching for consistency without Embiid. One thing is clear: a star is shining in Philadelphia.
