Sa harap ng bagong Davao Bus project, Mayor Baste Duterte delivered a message that hit two things at once:
pride and frustration.

Pride — dahil Davao is growing, innovating, modernizing.
Frustration — dahil wala man lang national support para sa proyekto na umaabot ng ₱70 billion.

Pero kahit walang tulong mula sa itaas,
Baste Duterte made one thing clear:

“Kaya nato. Para ni sa inyo. Pangalagaan nato.”

Pero ang mahalaga sa mensahe niya ay ito:
“Ayaw’g abusua ang pampublikong sakyanan. Let’s behave as expected of us.”

Mayor Baste isn’t just building a system —
He’s building culture, discipline, and responsibility, something na hirap makita sa national level.

Ready to progress.
