According to reports from Jornal da Madeira, the couple will marry next summer in a Christian ceremony on Ronaldo’s home island of Madeira, Portugal, only 1.5 miles from the city hospital where he was born and three miles from the football field where he grew up.
Their ceremony will take place after the 2026 World Cup, hosted at the historic Funchal Cathedral, with a luxurious reception set at a private venue overlooking the coastline.
The couple, who have been engaged since 2022, privately celebrated their long-awaited proposal with an improvised intimate moment — a late-night ring offering while their children were asleep. The £1.5 million engagement ring Georgina revealed last year is expected to take center stage in the ceremony.
