================================

After warning Israel about forgetting God…

After speaking about drift, idolatry, and complacency…

Moses gives one of the most hopeful messages in the chapter.

You can come back.

Even after failure.

Even after drifting.

Even after falling away.

“Thou shalt find him…”

This reveals something powerful about God’s character.

God is not only just—He is merciful.

Moses described a future where Israel would turn away.

They would forget.

They would lose their direction.

But that would not be the end.

Because if they chose to seek God again—

With all their heart and soul—

They would find Him.

Not eventually.

Not maybe.

But surely.

This is the beauty of grace.

God does not close the door when we fail.

He leaves it open.

Waiting.

Calling.

Inviting us back.

And this applies directly to our lives today.

Because falling away does not always look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like distance.

Less prayer.

Less focus.

Less connection.

And before we realize it—

We feel far from God.

But the truth is this.

God is not the one who moved.

We did.

And the moment we turn back—

He is already there.

Ready to receive us.

Ready to restore us.

Ready to rebuild what was lost.

Because returning to God is not about perfection.

It is about pursuit.

And the promise remains:

If you seek Him—

You will find Him.

Step by Step: Finding Your Way Back

Acknowledge the distance
Be honest about where you are.

Choose to seek God again
Return with intention.

Come with sincerity
God responds to a genuine heart.

Trust in His mercy
He is ready to receive you.

Stay consistent moving forward
Restoration is a daily walk.

You are never too far—

To come back.

PRAYER

Lord, help me return to You with all my heart.
Forgive me for the times I have drifted away.
Restore my relationship with You and guide me back to Your truth.
Strengthen my faith and keep me close to You daily.
Amen.
