According to Duterte, the President cannot distance himself from the alleged irregularities because every peso spent came from a law he approved.
“Kasama siya sa lahat ng anomalya sa flood-control projects,” she said.
“Kasi naging batas lang naman iyon dahil sa pirma niya. Kung hindi niya pinirmahan ‘yun, hindi naging batas ‘yun. Hindi magagamit ‘yung pera, hindi lalabas ‘yung pera.”
Her statement drew strong reactions nationwide, with supporters lauding her boldness and critics calling it unprecedented.
Still, Duterte stood firm: accountability starts at the top.
While others deflect blame, she calls for ownership — not excuses.
