VP Sara to Sen. Bato: “Maghanda ka sa kahit anong puwedeng mangyari.”
Vice President Sara Duterte has once again reaffirmed her loyalty and support to her longtime ally, Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, amid the swirling rumors of an impending ICC arrest warrant.

In a press interview, Duterte revealed that as early as April 2025, she already advised Sen. Bato to prepare for whatever the ICC may decide — not out of fear, but out of responsibility.
“As early as April of this year, I told Sen. Bato Dela Rosa to prepare for whatever happens regarding the ICC case.”
Despite the noise, Duterte emphasized that Bato is not alone and that she remains ready to help him navigate any political or legal storm ahead.
The Vice President also called out the administration’s selective urgency, contrasting the swift moves against Duterte allies with the deafening silence over anomalies involving allies of Malacañang.

Her message carries a deeper call for fairness:
If justice is the goal, then justice must not be weaponized.
In the face of political tension, threats, and international pressure, Duterte’s stance is clear —
“Ang tunay na tapang ay hindi pagtakbo sa laban. Ito yung paghahanda sa katotohanan, kahit masakit.”
While the ICC situation unfolds, supporters rally around Bato, viewing him not as a criminal but as a soldier who followed the mandate of the State — and now stands in the crossfire of politics.
For Duterte, the fight continues:
“Maghanda — pero huwag matakot.”
