Passport Cancelled? Sagot ba ‘yan sa P35B Issue — o Pampahupa Lang ng Galit ng Bayan?
When President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced that the passport of Zaldy Co had been cancelled, many Filipinos asked the same question:
“Bakit ngayon lang?”
For weeks, the flood-control anomalies worth ₱35 billion exploded across social media, congressional probes, and public hearings. Witnesses spoke. Documents surfaced. The people demanded answers.
Pero habang tumitindi ang tanong tungkol sa budget insertions, flood control anomalies, at testimonies ng DPWH engineers, lumabas ang isa na namang “timely” headline:
“Zaldy Co’s passport has been cancelled.”
Bakit laging huli ang aksyon?
The allegations have been in the public sphere for months. Billions were already traced. Testimonies already surfaced.
Pero ngayon lang kinansela ang passport?
At bakit parang PR announcement pa ang dating?
Ginagamit ba ang issue para ilihis ang mata ng tao?
Sa panahon na sunod-sunod ang mga tanong tungkol sa insertions, flood anomalies, at “selective investigations,” timing is everything.
Kapag mainit ang issue, biglang may pasabog… pero hindi ‘yung hinihintay ng publiko.
Nasan ang arrest warrant?
Nasan ang actual accountability?
Passport cancellation is not justice — it is merely paperwork.
Sino ang totoong tinatarget? Sino ang tinatakpan?
Kung talagang seryoso sila, bakit ’di lahat ng distrito at lahat ng proponent ng proyekto ang iniimbestigahan?
Bakit laging may pinipili… at may hindi pwedeng galawin?

Pumutok na naman ang bagong istorya mula sa Malacañang:
Blackmail daw.
Ayon kay Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, lumapit umano ang abogado ni Zaldy Co at nagbanta na “kung hindi kanselahin ang passport, hindi na maglalabas ng video.”
Pero hindi pa man natutuyo ang tinta ng balita — nagtataas na ng kilay ang bayan.
Dahil ang pattern, malinaw na malinaw:
1️⃣ Una: “Fake news lang ‘yan.”
2️⃣ Pangalawa: “Come home, harapin mo kaso mo.”
3️⃣ Ngayon: “Blackmail attempt.”
The storyline keeps changing — pero ang ₱52 billion kickback allegations, hindi masagot nang diretsuhan.
Kaya lumalakas ang tanong ng publiko:
Ito ba ay totoong blackmail?
O panibagong narrative para mailihis ang usapan?

Ang katotohanan, walang passport cancellation.
Walang narrative shift.

“Nilapitan kami ng abogado ni Zaldy Co… nagtatangkang mag-blackmail… na kung hindi namin kakanselahin ang passport niya, hindi raw siya maglalabas ng videos.
🔵 Atty. Ruy Rondain’s Response (Same day):
“Completely untrue… I have not spoken with anyone from the government… I have no control over the release of the videos.”
Magkasalungat. Diretsuhan. Walang paligoy.
Pero ano ang nakikita ng sambayanang Pilipino?
Paulit-ulit ang pattern ng Palasyo:
Kapag may pumutok na ebidensya laban sa Pangulo —
nagpapalit ng script, naglilihis ng kuwento, at naghahagis ng bagong akusasyon to shift the conversation.
BBM is trying to frame Co’s exposé as “blackmail”
Pero hindi nito sinasagot ang pinaka-importanteng tanong:
👉 Totoo ba o hindi ang ₱25B delivery?
👉 Totoo ba o hindi ang ₱52B Bulacan insertion?
Rondain’s denial is clean, concise, and consistent
Walang drama. Walang emosyon. Walang pagtatakip.
Isang pahayag lang: “Hindi totoo.”
