Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla has denied circulating claims that Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa has already been arrested.
According to Remulla, the information spreading online is not true, emphasizing that authorities would be transparent if such an operation were to take place.

Speaking on the issue, Remulla clarified that reports claiming Senator Dela Rosa had already been arrested are false.
He stressed that the Philippine National Police (PNP) would not conceal any operation involving the senator.
According to the DILG chief, authorities would publicly acknowledge any lawful enforcement action if it were to occur.
The clarification was issued as misinformation continued circulating across social media platforms.
Government officials urged the public to verify information through official sources and credible news organizations before sharing reports involving law enforcement operations.
False or unverified claims can create confusion, particularly on matters involving ongoing legal issues.
The clarification quickly gained attention online, with many users welcoming the official statement while others continued discussing the senator's legal situation.
As of this writing, no official announcement has been made by law enforcement authorities regarding the arrest of Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa.

✔️ Supporters:
“Finally, may disiplina na.”
“Dapat lang—sumunod sa batas.”
❗ Critics:
“Over-enforcement?”
📖 Micah 6:8
"Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God."

— Jonvic Remulla, DILG Secretary
