Mainit ang palitan ng salita sa pagitan ni Martin Romualdez at Chiz Escudero. Akusasyon dito, depensa doon. Pero kung tutuusin, para lang itong isang DDS script na luma na’t paulit-ulit, parang lumang kanta na naka-replay.
Sabi ni Romualdez, recycled ang mga paratang ni Escudero—wala raw bago, puro pang-troll page level. Pero ang tanong ng taumbayan: kung wala talagang bahid ng katiwalian, bakit hindi harapin nang diretsahan ang issue ng flood-control kickbacks?

Sa unang tingin, parang solusyon. Pero sa mata ng taumbayan, parang “bantay-sarado system” na naman. Kasi kung mismong mga buwaya ang nagbabantay ng kaban ng bayan, natural, walang mahuhuli. Kaya kailangan ng iba—pero teka, bakit ngayon lang?
Kung seryoso talaga ang HOR, bakit hindi muna linisin ang sariling bakuran bago maghanap ng external na bantay? Kasi kung flood control projects nga na fully paid pero hindi nagawa, paano pa kaya ang mas malalaking proyekto?
Ang irony? Yung short-lived infrastructure committee ang nagmungkahi ng solusyon—samantalang mismong infrastructure projects ang madalas sentro ng isyu.
Kaya ang tanong ng taumbayan: Private sector ba talaga ang solusyon, o cover story lang para hindi mabuko ang sariling kagat ng HOR Crocs? 🐊
